Joey Broadway - Vancouver

Every time I have been here the staff have been great. On this trip, my steak was medium not medium rare. I was just starting into it and she insisted they redo and they brought me another that was perfect. They then comped the steak! That was a real treat. They really look after their customers.I will definitely be back with family and friends.Thank you all.

Joey is not a traditional Indian restaurant, so it was a bit of a risk ordering the butter chicken. Am I ever glad I did! This isn't a traditional butter chicken, as it's a little spicier and not as buttery. But it is SO GOOD! I'm normally the type of person who doesn't eat the full meal in one sitting. I'll eat half of it and pack the other for lunch tomorrow. Nothing against the meals, but I don't want to eat until I'm stuffed. Not with the butter chicken. I'm eating all of it in one sitting. my stomach might hurt, but it is totally worth it!!!The other thing that puts Joey in the excellent category is the service. I've eaten at a number of different restaurants in Vancouver and the service here is exceptional. Doesn't matter who is walking by, your server, the bus person, hostess, if they notice an empty glass or plate, they're offering a refill. Or checking the status of the meal. The service is some of the best I've seen. Highly recommend Joey on Broadway.

Attended EASTER SUNDAY with another couple to celebrate a couple birthdays AND to our amazement the place was practically empty!Fish tacos., burgers etc., were well prepared and enjoyed by all...just couldn't understand the lack of people!Amazing.Free parking on Sunday..lotsa space., plenty of staff...very few customers!WHY.

My Ottawa located son came with a work friend to do some media work and surprised his dad and other brother to dine at Joey,he had been there during the Winter Olympic Games. This restaurant is similar to two other restaurants which I have used more often. Well I was delighted to have a very pleasant meal and evening at JOEY We only had an entree course as my son had to leave early. Well I had a delicious seared salmon dish very well cooked to my taste requirements and served up with a potato croquet with a crusted cover and zuccini and other veggies . I really enjoyed the meal.The two lady servers were very helpful and pleasant to talk about the menu and our mea choicesl We had a few wines to wash it all down. I have a mobility problem and was pleased to find the washrooms were on the same level as the dining area and also were friendly to the disabled patrons like me. There was parking in the rear but they also had valet parking but he was not around when we arrived. As a result of this visit ,this restaurant has jumped up to my favourite list and I will be giving it a return visit. You should try it

We have occasion to meet in the evenings nearby and often come in early to have a meal - Joey's is one of our favourite local choices either at the bar or in the restaurant- good food and friendly efficient staff
