Grain Tasting Bar - Vancouver

Comfortable ambiance----Stiff, but efficient bar service. Above average cocktail , beer,and wine menu. Maple glazed wings were very tasty. Sit-at-the-bar arrangement issmart. Nice access to an outdoor terrace area.Overall--beverage prices were a bit too "rich"--however have a Happy Hour from9PM to 11PMOverall---nice room, enjoyable.Recommended.

Grain is...ok... but... if you are not a regular or a Conference attendee, you are ignored. There are some drink specials and some food specials daily. The Saturday night food special was a Smokey Tomato Bruschetta, it was good... diced smoked tomatoes on a piece of French Baguette.. but it was difficult to eat as the tomatoes were just plopped on the (thinly sliced) Baguette..it kept slipping off ... Grain was reasonably busy as Grain attracts people from the Hyatt Hotel Lobby. I tried Mosiac earlier and wanted to test out Grain. I haven't really been super impressed with either! I'll revisit these places in the future.

Hyatt Vancouver was great except for the horrendous bartenders at their "Grain" restaurant. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Would rather go to the Tim Horton's next door than dine there again.....

Have drink with my colleagues twice in this bar, which is located inside the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.We choose the happy hour from 9pm to 11pm for both occasions, 'cause the price of the bar and wine is more reasonable. There are extensive list of alcoholic available and there are juices available if one can't drink any alcoholic drink.The service is a-bit hit-and-miss. On one occasion, we ask for a desert menu but it never comes. Some waitresses are nice and warm, but some are cool.

This bar located in the lobby of The Hyatt Regency Hotel is a great place to go if you love a good cocktail. There is a huge selection of drinks and during happy hour there are a lot of reasonably priced appetizers. We enjoyed the friendly service and would definitely go back.
