Gene Cafe - Vancouver

That's a must you have to see and maybe eat a coffee or a bite! It is located on a triangular block where three great arteries cross in Vancouver (e.g. Broadway, Kingsway Main Street). The interest of ordinary modern... Artworks decorate the building, pulled me there! The gourmet coffee and the service is good! They have a great view of traffic and people with their lives. It's a great place to meet someone for coffee!

We were lucky to find this beautiful little place on our tour through Vancouver; the coffee is excellent, while strong. You also have a good banana bread and other snacks. Totally recommended.

The coffee is served too hot, which burns the taste and doesn't make it very good. Nice place for people to watch and see, but there are MUCH better cafes nearby with better coffee, like Our Town Cafe or Kafka's.

A good option for a coffee and obviously popular among locals. Have tables outside so you can hang around...

Right in the heart of main street..one of the coolest buildings..solid coffee and treats..great spot for people watching or just to chill for a while with your book..
