Bidrage med feedbackI decided to come here as a change from my usual, little sheep mongolian. Both have their own pros, but this place surely didnt disappoint. I was having a late dinner so it was nice that they have late hours almost every day! All the food was great and the service was decent, overall i would definitely come back.
For the all-you-can-eat option, it's $20 per person with broth costing an additional $7-8, which is totally worth it. The Tom Yum soup base is fragrant, spicy, and tart. Fresh oysters are included on the menu, and they are a must-try for oyster lovers. The shrimp and basa filets are plump and succulent, while the dumplings are a perfect size for quick cooking. The fish and meatballs are chewy, but the meats are tender and tasty. The ambiance is modern and well-lit with comfortable chairs. The service is efficient and timely, with tea and hot pot fluid regularly refilled, and empty plates promptly cleared. Mango pudding is served for dessert towards the end of the 2-hour dining period. They accept cash or debit only. The value is good with a wide variety of options, fresh seafood, tasty broths, and a total cost of $27 including tax and tip. I will definitely be returning to Fatty Cow for more delicious hot pot experiences!
Love spicy broth but the one from Fatty Cow has a lot of residual chilies and hard little pieces of grainy stuff in the broth; wasn't what I was expecting so I had to strain all the tiny bits out as it completely coated the food. Other than that, I loved it! There's a ton of selection and the other clear broth we had was delicious.
Mooooo. Been here a couple of times when they were fairly new and it was pretty good hotpot actually. haven't been back tho cuz i'm rarely in the area.
This restaurant is always busy at dinnertime. I appreciate that they provide chair covers for your jacket. The quality of their service varies depending on who you ask for help; I remember a male server giving us a hard time when we asked to change the channel to hockey. However, the food is excellent with fresh ingredients and decent soup.
