Bidrage med feedbackThe noodles and overall food quality are excellent—fresh and top-notch. However, I found the dishes to be a bit too sour for my liking. While this flavor might be appealing to some, it didn't quite match my taste. Based on my personal preference, I would give it a 4 out of 5.
The hosts and chefs were extremely friendly and attentive. Even though the restaurant was bustling, they ensured that each guest felt welcomed. The service was prompt and efficient. The ramen and broth were amazing, packed with a variety of vegetables, seafood, and meat. The portion sizes were generous, providing us with plenty of leftovers. Overall, it was an excellent value for the experience. I would definitely come back to try a different ramen dish.
I had a great experience at Fat Mao today. We started with the Roti and Mapo Tofu, and both were fantastic! For my main course, I had the Hot and Sour pork bowl with Shanghai noodles, which was just perfect. I'm really happy with my visit and can’t wait to return. The standout dish might have been the $5 Roti—it was absolutely delightful!
Arrive with an appetite, but leave your white clothes at home! The food here is outstanding, and the portion sizes are quite generous. The staff is exceptionally friendly; they even provided me with a stain removal stick when I accidentally dropped some food on my shirt. If you find yourself in Chinatown, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit!
The food at this restaurant, especially their signature chicken noodle dish, is a wonderful blend of Thai and Malaysian flavors. The soup can be somewhat salty, but adding a bit of lime enhances its richness and freshness significantly. The shrimp in the Tom Yum soup are fantastic—each bowl includes about six large, fresh white shrimp that are definitely worth trying! On the other hand, I wouldn't suggest the Shanghai wide noodles unless you prefer a slightly undercooked texture.
