Bidrage med feedbackCame with a friend from the city. It was absolutely amazing. We ordered the beef bell sandwich, Allu rice and mushroom paste. The sand that was from this world. Tastefully and simply a pleasant experience, an ingenious mixture of flavors. The Allu rice was such a mixture of great flavors. The egg had a strong creamy or cheese to taste, but was delicious. The mushroom pasta was a pleasant surprise. A balance of favor, not too rich. The noodles were fresh and perfect. The orange wine pairing worked well.
Dosanko offers a beautiful, soothing and cozy atmosphere for girls? Lunch on Friday. We ordered the Beef Belly Sando (5/5) that contained a hint of mustard that balances the wealth so well! We also tried the Omu-Rice with Hayashi Sauce (4.5/5)? our server prepared this dish for us by cutting the egg perfectly, and drizzling sauce up. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetables hidden in the rice. Although the sauce was a bit too salty for my taste, otherwise this dish was an experience I recommend. Our server also gave us food sharing. ? We were too full to order Dessert, but that just means we? ll have to go back soon. Thank you to the servers and the cook for checking us in during our meal!???????????
Food was delicious here, we randomly chose this restaurant on Google map and had tried the most juicy burger (especially the day menchi kastu burger) and the Allu rice, eggs are so soft. We are very satisfied and very full. Try her dessert safe next time!
Large Japanese restaurant serving delicious dishes. They do not come here for sushi, but for harder dishes such as Japanese curry, toncatsu and beef belly sandwiches. The serving sizes are plentiful and the presentation is pretty. The interior is cozy with the brick wall and wooden furniture. Friendly service that had a great evening overall! The table side Omi-rice was a treat, but my favorite was the mackerel! Only drawback, it closes early at 9 a.m., good that the brewery district is close.
Had some time to myself and wanted a spot in Vancouver to reflect and gather my thoughts for the day and hopefully have a good meal. Did a bit of online research and found Dosanko. It had me at Beef Belly Katsu. Upon further review, I found that the owners have a connection to Edmonton which resonates with me. So it was a for sure go to check this spot out. It is a bit out of the way but in my opinion worth it. It checked off all the boxes the sandwich was delicious and while the cost may seem pricey I found the quality of the meat and the quantity left me full (I did not eat anything until lunch). So no issues with the cost at all imo. The service and staff was very polite and made me feel I was in Japan. The restaurant, at least on the day I was there, allowed me time to escape the day to day and simply enjoy my food, tea, and thoughts. Not sure when I will be back but it will be in my thoughts for sure!
