Dex Gourmet Burgerbar - Vancouver

I bought breakfast for two persons. Sunrise No. 1 costs $6.95 and I got two oil-dripping fried eggs, two small hash browns and two slices of toast. I added ham (because the bacon served to another guest looked just aweful.) The ham quality was THE poorest I have ever tasted in my life. One bite and I spit it out. It tasted like pig poop rather than ham. This is unnecessary cost-saving: they serve bad food and lose customer loyalty. The only reason they climbed up to a 2 star is because the lady cashier is a nice lady but their food does NOT meet minimum basic standards.

We had been to the Quay for breakfast many times while on vacation in the past, and were disappointed to see that the restaurant on the upper level was not open. We opted to go into the food court and lucked in on Dex's. We had scrambled eggs, sausage and toast which were prepared quickly and were very tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient, but they did not have coffee so we bought our coffee at the coffee stand next door which was very good. The view across the busy harbor is very enjoyable on a beautiful morning.

Dex Gourmet Burgerbar is in the fast food area at Lonsdale Quay. The burgers and the fries are delicious - really outstanding. The burger itself is large and cooked to order, the buns are toasted and if you order a cheeseburger the cheese is actually melted! Excellent.

Delicious sausages, made to order with friendly service. We had coffee from Starbucks and fruit from the Market but our breakfast needed a little more and the Dex sausages were the perfect addition!

I paid a lot of money for just a chicken burger , don't waste ur money on just the burger and get a kids meal instead
