Chosun Korean Bbq - Vancouver

Judging from the building outside, I didn't have much expectation for this Korean BBQ restaurant. Wait time was approximately 20 mins for our table for 4. We picked the party combo for four people. Portion was perfect for four adults; we finished everything with happy stomachs. Service was great Asian way, meaning the servers checked on us frequently and were efficient, but not friendly or chatty. We didn't mind that at all. All your clothes will smell BBQ by the end of the meal, but that's just how dining Korean BBQ is like. Will come back again!

If you are a fan of Korean barbecue, you may want to try this place. It can get pretty busy during dinner, but lunch was not too bad. We tried the Korean pancake, bulgogi (beef) and tempura. The barbecue on the table is consistently been good (we have had dinners here as well). The menu is varied and tasty.

Business Lunch - arrived at 11:40am ( hint if you arrive at 12:15 you are going to wait ) 6 tables with people when we arrived, ordered had many different things on BBQ,By 12:15 it was packed. We ordered about 7 different items ( all were very good) Just had tea to drink I would go back it was about 100. for the two of us, But we did order alot ( again Business Lunch) Client had never been , but loved it) Staff was good- when you are done - just get up and walk to pay( we waited as asked to get the bill) We did not know thats how it worked , but no big deal. Parking was free and good since we arrived early. it is in a small shopping area. about 20 spits avail.

Suddenly missed going to Seoul, Korea and dining at small restaurants behind the hotel where our crew used to stay. Great food! Great ambiance!
