Chi Noodle - Vancouver

Was craving cold noodles so ended up finding this place to try out.I got the cold dry noodles and jelly fish.The noodles was very sad to say the least. $15 for just noodles with a bit of garlic on top and chilli oil. Very different from the photo they display.The jelly fish tasted like alcohol, not nice.$31 bill left hungry and unsatisfied

The Tantan noodle is instant noodle.Also spicy and sour noodle as well.Serving hot water instead of tea.Brown sugar milk tea does not have enough brown sugar.Cutlery was clean thoguh

It’s a beautiful modern setting, but….. the food overall could have used more flavour. The wonton soup and beef shank ramen needed more salt and flavour. Although the beef shank tasted great, the marinated egg tasted like a regular egg, and I didn’t like the spam in the dish. The most flavourful dish was the garlicky marinated daikon.

Really good, huge portions. A little pricy, but it's Kerrisdale, so eh. Both dumplings I got came loaded with meat and filling and the chili oil for dipping was delicious; the right amount of spice ... FOR ME, anyway). AND I got delivery, so I can only imagine how good it tastes in-restaurant. Seeing lots of mid reviews for the noodles. Guess I'll try that next time? The milk tea that came with the dumpling combo was diabetic coma-inducing sugary milk. That's OK, though. I put two espresso shots in it and now it's functionally yuenyeung. Thanks, Chi Noodle Bar! I'll be back!

The food here is so delicious! I have been looking for good Juicy Por Buns (Chi Steamed Mini Pork Bun) for over a year since my other favourite place closed down, and they did not disappoint! I will continue to go back and try other dishes!!!I had the Beef Brisket Soup and it was phenomenal!
