Caffe Brixton - Vancouver

Good spot for a drink - located in Chinatown just off Main Street. 16oz (450ml?) house lager $5.20. Friendly with a good vibe.

When looking for affordable lunch food in the city it is too easy to eat cookie cutter fast food from one of the chains. I won't be doing that again now that I've discovered Caffe Brixton. Great comfortable environment, delicious food and super value. They have so many great specials like Falafel Friday that I'll be sure to drop by again soon.

Oh dear! Went here for a quick half pint whilst waiting for Phnom Peng Restaurant .Quick it wasn't , it must have taken 20 minutes to take our order and for it to arrive, which when there were less than 20 people there is woefull. The music was eclectic but the volume was so high that everybody inside felt compelled to shout to each other.Had to neck the drink to get back to the queue!So much promise, wasted by poor service

Had a sampler appetizer of naan, hummus, cheese, olives, etc. Was fresh and tasty. A couple of local craft brews. Nice, friendly staff, got great recommendations for Phnom Phen up the street.

There are some interesting things on the menu at brixton. i had a veggie meat loaf sandwich with a great bbq sauce. my wife had beef short rib sandwich nicely dressed with lettuce and tomato. service is non existent as it is counter service, they do bring you the food to the table. many other interesting items to eat and drink.
