Cafe Forty One - Vancouver

This is a cafe located on the corner of 41st and Oak, at the Jewish centre. They offer up a menu of Kosher breakfast and lunch items, pizzas, drinks, and bakeries. You order at the front counter, and the staff will bring the food to you once it's ready. I had their Cheese Blintzes and a small Mocha. The food was good; I did find the mocha to be a little grainy however. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. This is a spot that I definitely recommend checking out.<br/ <br/ Cheese Blintzes $9.95):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ This consists of two rolled up crepes, and are served with a side of sour cream and strawberry preserves. I thought from the name that the crepes would be filled with cheese, but instead it was this clear, thick filling that was sweet. I found the filling to be a bit on the overly sweet side, although still good; the crepes themselves were tender and chewy. I do wish that the preserves could have been raspberry or something more tart to balance the sweetness. The sour cream was a nice touch.<br/ <br/ Small Mocha $3.75):<br/ 3/5<br/ This was served with two small pieces of chocolate, which were bittersweet and not waxy. The mocha had a pretty good flavour, being sweet and chocolaty with a bit of bitterness. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite grainy near the bottom.<br/ <br/ I quite enjoyed my visit to Cafe Fortyone. The food was good; I did find the mocha to be a little grainy however. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Incredible!. Wow! Just had an amazing dinner at Cafe Forty One. Service was polite and fast, special orders were no problem. Ambiance is beautiful, very clean and spacious. and the food was AMAZING!!! We ordered almost all of the dishes to try and none disappointed. The risotto balls especially were unreal, and the salmon burger was absolutely bursting with flavor. Price was good too- didn't come out to a huge bill even with 6 people ordering multiple dishes. Will definitely be coming back!

Such a simple coffee shop BUT with GREAT service and yummy food! Your stomach will be happy and you will feel great helping a local business owner who is there working hard!!!

The owner is nice and friendly. I ordered a veggie pizza for take-out, it?s delicious! I love the crust and it tasted better than some other pizza franchise! I?ll definitely come back again! For meat lovers, there aren?t that manyoptions. Notes: Dine-in is acceptable here if you?d like. The place is pretty much all yours because of the pandemic.
