Bidrage med feedbackI visited this restaurant twice during the Vancouver International Film Festival and tried different dishes each time. Both meals were excellent and reasonably priced. The highlights were the baba ganoush, which had a light and less roasted flavor, and the baklava, which was less sweet and more delicious. The freshly baked pita bread was also a standout. The only letdown was the carrot juice, which had fermented in the fridge and was not tasty. Despite this, I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
I ate here two nights running during the Vancouver International Film Festival, and had somewhat different meals each time. Both times the quality was very high, and the prices reasonable. Particularly notable were the baba ganoush (less roasted and with a very light taste) and the baclava (MUCH less sweet and therefore much more appealing). The pita bread was freshly cooked--as we waited, and was puffy and delicious. The one bad note was a carrot juice which had clearly been sitting in the fridge for too long--it was actually fermenting, and not in a pleasant way. I will be back, for sure.
I had the chicken shawarma wrap with tahini for lunch and the tahini is absolutely delicious.
I always opt for the salads at this restaurant for my lunches. They are delicious and packed with protein, featuring chicken, quinoa, tabbouleh, beetroot, and other ingredients.
The shwarma and falafel sandwiches at this restaurant are excellent, and their lentil soup is also delicious.
