Akebono Japanese Food & Sushi

This was my first visit to the restaurant, so I didn't try everything on the menu, but what I did have was excellent! I ordered the salmon avocado roll and was impressed by the size of the pieces. The miso soup was also delicious. I am Japanese, so I have high standards for sushi quality and I was very satisfied. The staff was very friendly. Overall, I give this restaurant 5 stars. I hope my next visit will be just as great.

Yesterday, we visited Lonsdale Quay and grabbed a quick snack. The dynamite roll was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we are taking the water ferry back today to have more sushi for lunch. It was the best sushi we have had in the greater Vancouver area!

We had a wonderful experience at the Lonsdale Quay Market enjoying fresh and quick sushi. The prices were very reasonable, and we highly recommend it!

This bomb sushi place has the best moakis, tempura, spring rolls and california rolls! I bought bc combo and it included mistsuppe! very nice price also! definat will be on the favorite sushi list!

This tiny spot rolls out the sushi all day both in quantity and quality. The owners must be passing the smaller than average overhead on to the customers as the prices are hard to beat.
