Syrup Trap - Vancouver

We shared two gluten free waffles and they were so good I couldn't believe they were gluten free. I do want to go back and try a non gluten-free one for myself out of curiousity. We did one savory and one sweet so we could share. So fun

If I could give it a higher rating than a 5/5 I would! The waffles as well as the coffee are so good! Definitely will be going again.

A very pleasant layed back smaller restaurant with friendly attentive service. Indoor and outdoor seating, bussing your own table. I tried the Mojo Jojo. It was very good but my experience making waffles and pancakes and eating at other establishments serving same, the waffles seemed a bit undercooked or that's the way it is supposed to be but it gave it a slightly chewy texture. Other people commented about how sweet the waffles are and they are correct, sugar definitely added. No syrup needed, which is irony, the name of the place. This is a higher quality restaurant at a very reasonable price. I'm always impressed with the quality utensils and that shows it cares about the product. If you don't mind the extra sweet taste, this is the best place.

Everything was super delish! The s'mores one with peanut butter, marshmallow whipped cream and Oreo was soooooo goooooood. Super sweet, so had some help finishing it! I really enjoyed my London Fog beverage; not too sweet and perfect amount of foam with a lovely presentation. My hubby got the Sammy one and found it super satisfying. We chilled outside with our pup and a staff member got us a water bowl, always appreciated! My only ask is adding a vegetarian protein option like veg sausage, bacon, or tofurky to the menu, pretty please! :
