Bidrage med feedbackSo, my group and I went from Viña del Mar for a short visit to Valpo (Valparaíso). We took a bus on the beach line and then through some hills with magnificent houses to finally arrive in Valpo. After screaming like horrified people (we were frightened) in Ascensor el Peral we decided to calm and eat. Calle Serrano, Bar Restaurant Patrimonio Porteño. The neighborhood itself is a little “foreign” with almost all walls full of graphite and a “dark” atmosphere. The restaurant does not offer decoration that is worth mentioning (in fact it is poor), the perceived ambience is of displaced units in the restaurant... but wait for food, and here is my first advice: questions Do not look for something other than seafood (you will be disappointed differently)... my second: questions You don't want a chap: they sin to prepare it... and my third: questions They do not go to two dishes, one is ENOUGH, they serve a large amount of shells, shrimps, octopus and all these delicious sea creatures. My option was a seafood soup and thought I could ask for something else. No, sir, that was enough: I have this delicious, phosphorus, invigorating and living soup with tons of seafood. Really nice. My companions also enjoyed their dishes very much, so I recommend this place when you are in Valpo and the sea view makes you guilty of not eating fish or seafood there. Service is 3 points of 10 and the prices are not consistent: some things seemed very expensive to me, and some others were too expensive.
I ordered a piece of salmon with chips. From the beginning, it seemed strange that 9,000 pesos were charged for a piece of salmon and that APARTE would collect the garrison. Anyway, we bought lunch. The attention was rather fast and the waiters very friendly, but the food was foolish and oily. I had to lower a piece of napkin from my piece of salmon and the other down the fries to see if I had the taste of oil (and the oil that was already on the plate). In short, I ate a dish whose only taste was oil. Despite this, the other dishes were good. The rest of my family was very happy in general. That's why they're 3 stars, because my dish was gonna give it back.
The attention of the waitress and the waiters is good. If I felt deceived, because the lady who invited us to pass promised a lot and fulfilled little. I found it was expensive in relation to food quality. My crack was raw in the middle. There is an improvement and toilet in the bathrooms. Upon leaving the bathroom there was a client saying that he would not pay a plate, as they were a couple of bushes hidden in the cheese. After that, the manager called the waiters outside and there was a hostile atmosphere. I don't know what else happened, because we went to that mummy.
A little expensive considering they offer a menu. Food is, but it could get better. They offer bread and fish to start, and a small sour pisco to see if you live with another cocktail, an entrance ceviche or consomé that are not the big and fish of the main dish with thorns everywhere. Another option is Marine Paula who are practically clams and choritos. The place is nice and the attention of the pretty good staff. But I insist, expensive.
Good and cordial attention, at the edge of insistence, fulfills the promise of a hanging with all the dishes. High average quality, the pisco sour very loaded to sugar. Fish well prepared fried without being extraordinary, medium ceviche and Chilean salad with tomatoes chopped in large cubes. He stands out for his attention.
