Albano's Pasta Shop - Valparaiso

I was finally able to make it to The Chesterton European Market, I was counting down the hours to lunch . Im also Italian and this is by far the best tortellini I ever had ! I give him 10 stars! The sauce was amazing !! I can’t wait to try every flavored tortellini he makes. What a variety! THANK YOU !Food: 5/5

The food was amazing, service fantastic and very nice place with great ambiance and outdoor seating. Highly recommend! The wine from the winery that shares the space was also excellent. Felt like more of a gourmet meal one might more likely find in a big city, but it's a little jewel tucked into an out of the way location in Valparaiso

Albanos is one of my go to's mainly because of the food. However, the service, and atmosphere set the tone for a chill dining experience for both indoor or outdoor.The owner truly cares about the quality of food he serves to his customers. I highly recommend trying Albanos. Take care.

During our recent trip to Valpo, we unexpectedly changed our dinner plans, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision! This place serves the best Italian food we've had outside of Italy. Everything is homemade, especially the pasta, which truly makes a difference. The fresh bread served with a flavorful onion-infused oil was outstanding. The Short Rib Tortellini was exceptional, and Grammy's Lasagna was fantastic—nothing beats the crispy, caramelized cheese on the edges! The sauces and cheeses were absolutely delicious! We also tried the meatballs, which were juicy, peppery, and topped with a rich sauce and creamy ricotta. The service was excellent; Leah took wonderful care of us and went above and beyond. We will definitely return the next time we're in the area!
