Lucky Halal Food - Valley Stream

I don't have a lot of other halal food experiences to compare this to but I ordered a combo over rice, got all sauces except BBQ (that sounds weird given the food type), a pita to go with it and a lamb gyro. I meant to get a picture of the combo but some slob ate it all before I could. It was really good, though. I would definitely come back. The guy running it has a bit of a language barrier but it didn't seem to hinder his ability to make the order I placed.

The food was good here. The meat was fresh and cooked very well. The meat was tender. It was served with brown rice. The white sauce is tasty. It was located by the Liquor Warehouse in the mall. I like that the meat was not greasy. What is great is that you can order ahead on Grubhub. A lot of halal restaurants only allow you to have food deliver not picked up. This is a great option that you can order ahead to pick up.

This place is a food truck. Not sure it will be there at all time. It was at near the walmart parking lot. I had a lamb gyro and was filled with generous size of real fresh lamb. They make their own sauce and price was so cheap. Cash Only!

Update 12-26-19 We now live in PA but come back to Elmont often to see my mom daughter. We NEVER Leave NY without stopping here to buy their Lamb Gyro Chicken Rice platter, both with the White Sauce. BEST FOOD from a cart I've ever eaten!!! Nice owner too when you call in your food ahead of time, it WILL be ready fresh when you get there!!!
