Nunu's Desserts With Soul - Vallejo

Dinner was delicious! Enough for 2 meals for me. The peach cobbler is a keeper. Rolls were a nice bonus. I will be ordering again!

The barbecue duck dinner was amazing! I also loved, loved, loved the peach cobbler.

This was my first time ording from NuNu's on the site they had a picture of a slice of German Chocolate cake, but what I received was a regular chocolate cake with coconut pecan topping...needless to say I was very disappointed. The Lullaby cake was ok in the description they said it had coconut rum in it but there was so much rum that it overtook the cake and left a bitter taste. Like I said this was the first time I've tried them I will probably try them again but not the Lullaby cake and definitely NOT the Chocolate (aka German Chocolate) cake

Ordered 3 cakes and a Lemon Meringue pie. Very disappointed. Lemon Bundt Cake dry and lacked lemon flavor artificial or real. Brown butter pound cake , lacked flavor and moisture sadly. Yellow cake with fudge , also flavorless . The lemon custard in the pie was pretty good, crust was a epic fail and meringue was over beat . I have often hoped that NuNu's was open to partake in the desserts on a Sunday afternoon. My wish is that this will be considered constructive criticism and a learning curve

Super tasty, thick raw honey. I like to use local honey especially in the spring and have been sad that the honey at the farmers market isn't local to Vallejo. Brutha's Honey is farmed in Vallejo, and exactly what I've been looking for!
