Bidrage med feedbackMoschetti Artisan Coffee Roasting Company the BESTOne day while detouring through Vallejo, California, I stopped at a traffic light, and smelt the intoxicating smell of roasting coffee wafting into the car. I was in a hurry, and kept going, but about a mile away, discretion got the better of me, and I turned around to return to that smell and to locate its source. I could not have been more lucky to have made that decision! Meet Fabrice, the owner and purveyor of this great coffee that he personally takes a direct hand in making. Drip ground, expresso, and many other kinds and styles – see the website for more details. And, wait, there’s more… The coffee bags are one pound in every way, not like the partial pound weights that are now used by the likes of (I can hardly type the word), Starbucks, and also Peets Coffee. So sneaky to try to trick people into thinking that the prices have not gone up. I’m no coffee aficionado, but even I can tell the difference between Moschetti compared to the other brands and styes. Who’d ‘a known??. Go, meet Fabrice, enjoy the ambiance of the place, and pay homage to one of the few entrepreneurs to brave the bay area bureaucracy and socialistic style red tape designed, it seems, to deter businesses from starting up in the first place… So, congratulations to Moschetti’s, as they have bucked the trend, produce a superb (no, outstanding) coffee, and are a great example of perseverance in the face of adversity!Got to see them if you are in that area, if not, go buy their coffee via the internet website. I give you my word, you will NOT be disappointed! (I have no interest in this business, other than to tell you to go and try them out).
I've been a fan of good coffee since I was a young lad and I will say these good people make some excellent roasts. Just a few minutes down the Curtola Pkwy in a somewhat nondescript area of buildings and on Saturday mornings they have free tastings and offerings from local artists and vendors.
Great coffee! Love the selection and the freshness of the beans. The Ethiopian coffee are my favorite.
Subtle roasts with charm and nuance in flavor. Nothing better than fresh roasted. This Artizsen roaster only distributes his coffee in 100 mile radius to ensure freshness. Friendly service and delicious coffee.
Great selection of coffees. They are open on the weekends for free coffee tastings. He also private labels his coffees. Great for gifts or fund raising. He helps the surrounding communities.
