Bidrage med feedbackNothing from the other world. The food was fine, but for Mexico it is very expensive, 5 eu for a panucho, which usually cost 1.5 eu sausage of Valladolid 14 eu... very expensive... it was good but nothing from the other world. Good service, I **** it off the home tortillas. The very nice presentation, but for those prices in Mexico I expect something you say wow, and what we ate was ok, nothing more and I hope the answer will not give me a lesson of everything that I supposedly do not understand in flavors, as I have seen in other answers, since they charge high, they also offer very exquisite flavors.
Last May, my wife and I had lunch at this restaurants. It was something really memorable. The place itself is not impressive , but the food is excellent and the sauce and tortilla making demonstrations were illustrative . Our meal consisted of Sopa de Lima, Pook Chuck, Camaron Xixalba, and Xtabay Sorbet. Everything was very well prepared, tasty, and nicely presented at the table. Our Mexican beers (Tecate Light) were an excellent complement. After the meal we were invited to watch a few short demonstrations on sauce preparation methods, and tortilla making. It was here that perhaps we made the mistake of watching all of these after we ate, it would have been wonderful to have a couple of freshly made tortillas prior to our meal. We have done it at other places, and it is something wonderful and tasty. We very much recommend to anyone in Valladolid, to come here and have a similar experience to ours. Two things to keep in mind; the restaurant is not very close to the center of town, but it is within walking distance, if you can handle the high temperatures and broken sidewalks. Otherwise, take a taxi. Also, make sure you have enough pesos to pay the bill, they do not take credit cards.
This is the best THE BEST restaurant I’ve ever been to. The Service, The Ambiance, The Food, The People The Owners/Operators…I was lucky to meet speak with the owner Jose tonight, he told me all about how his mother founded the restaurant showed me a video of how the food is prepared. They’re offering online cooking courses so I’ll def be posting that when I get back home…this place makes me so happy I had to tell Jose and also to share with his mom that the 2 dinners I had here made me so happy it brought tears to my eyes…they’re doing everything right here…I Love you IX CAT IK I’ll be back
Traditional dishes. We were very well received. Very good dish. Irene served us nicely by explaining the menu. And showed us with all their aromatic plants how they cooked. Thank you.
After visiting Chichen-itzá and having a good break at the cenote X'ux Ha, we came for lunch. A first aspect to take into account is that the payment is in cash (weights or dollars). They may eventually accept credit card, but it is not safe. ..
