Los Arrecifes - Valladolid

Staying with my fantastic casa hamaca is a tasty bite, but I felt compelled to drive over the city to a highly rated seafood restaurant, I can certainly choke for them! the personal is friendly and treated me with a lot of ease and attention they even brought...from their English-speaking manager! she is also a joy! she went through all the menu highlights to help me order. nice touch! “We” (it was just me and the administration decided on a half order of coconut carimp, one of my fav’s all the time. I always appreciate small plate options, so I thank a lot of flavors! and there house special guacamole w/crispy meeres fruit. then I tried her amazing seafood soup wow! talk about taste! I have also won their ceviche as well as their otopus tomatenpulpto! The coconut wars were wonderful large garnels with a very tasty dipping sauce, much different than the “standard” as I was sure I could not bite anymore, they brought me a sampler of baby hai empanadas! so sweet! (not the baby haiteil I would go every day for their unique and tasty seafood offerings through the city they definitely don't go wrong!

We had been here 1 before and the food was great so we jumped at the chance when our friends mentioned they were going and asked us if we wanted to tag along. They are regulars so we know the place must have great food....We were not disappointed. Our friends told us about some things that were not on the menu and other things they have tried since we were last here. The fish they recommended was great, so were the botanas that come free of charge. We had a wonderful lunch that was at a nice slow pace and the only stress was trying to decide what to order. The staff was Excellent.

We had a wonderful lunch with some friends Kathy and yesterday at Los Arrecifes in Valladolid. They specialize in seafood. We had heard of the restaurant by a few people and jumped at the chance like a chicken on a June bug. Everything was fine...until our friends forced me to eat a shrimp that was wrapped in bacon. Who in their right mind thought this would be good!!! It was NOT GOOD.... It was amazing. Still thinking of it 24 hours later..... I had a mixture of shrimps but the bacon wrapped ones were quite clearly the best. My wife had some fish that was absolutely delicious. This along with the excellent Botanas made for a wonderful meal....It's great to have people living here make recommendation. One side note... they have air-conditioning which will be very handy in the summer and they deliver.

Best place in town for seafood delicious and fresh!!!!! Staff very nice and helpful,food takes 25 to 30 minutes

This place is on the road coming into town from Tulum, and they recently added air conditioning--a rarity in Valladolid. Loved the arcos de calamar and the camarones tropicales! I just wish they were open later. They close at 7PM, so go for lunch or...an early supper.
