We waited for about 20 minutes for our food to arrive, but it was worth it as the vegetables were freshly cooked. Several other groups had ordered just before us. The meals were hot, fresh, very tasty, and came in generous portions. In addition to the usual pub fare, there were some interesting and unique dishes on the menu, including Christmas options. The staff were friendly and there was plenty of seating available. The restaurant also has a large car park. It is essentially a sports bar with multiple screens, so keep that in mind if sports aren't your thing. However, the atmosphere was very relaxed and unobtrusive during lunchtime.

I arrived for lunch after booking online a week ago, only to be told by a staff member that they had not been informed of any bookings. Another staff member then informed me that they did not have a chef and asked if I was still planning to eat. Despite having my contact details on the booking, no one bothered to call and inform me of the situation. There was no apology, only a dismissive response of "I've only just got here and been told, nothing I can do." I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

We had to wait 90 minutes for two meals at this restaurant. The wait was frustrating, but the real issue was the dishonesty about when our meals would arrive. After waiting for about 45 minutes, we were told our meals were 5-10 minutes away. However, when we checked again 30 minutes later, we were informed that one of the meals was actually ready. Unfortunately, we didn't receive our food until about 20 minutes later. If the chef had been upfront about the wait time, we would have likely gone elsewhere. The restaurant explained that the slow service was due to a sudden influx of orders at 7pm, which was surprising. Despite the delay, we did receive a refund and the food was tasty. I've had a positive experience here in the past with a shorter wait time, so hopefully this was just a one-off issue. It may be a better option to visit this place for drinks rather than a meal.

Even though it was very busy and only had two people on bar we got our food and drink with little wait for the amount of people there. Staff were friendly and polite we will be returning
