Bidrage med feedbackOn a hot, sunny day, the side garden was closed and in the shade. The main garden was too hot and the small parasols didn't provide much relief. When we asked to use the shady side garden, we were told it was closed. We ended up eating in the car park instead. I would recommend saving money by buying sandwiches or lunch elsewhere, or bringing your own and dining at the weir area. We won't be returning to the overrated and unfriendly tea rooms.
We made a pit stop here for a late lunch on our way to Stratford. The front window had an easy-to-order queuing system. The staff were very friendly and provided prompt service, despite having a number of orders ahead of ours. We had a good selection of food to choose from and ultimately decided on the Buscot afternoon tea box, which offered excellent value for two people. The presentation was top-notch, with high-quality cakes and sandwiches. The restaurant also had a lovely garden where we could sit and enjoy our meal. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again.
I revisited this tea room on a hot day and was pleased with the delicious, well-prepared food and lovely ice cream. The garden is beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful spot to watch the birds flitting in and out of the hedgerow. A stop here is definitely worth it for a refreshing drink or a bite to eat.
Really friendly place, good food, and loos. Not overpriced. Also sell jams etc.. or they did when I went!
First visit to this little cafe which was the halfway point on our walk along the Thames Path so a great place to stop. The garden area is beautifully kept, all the tables are spaced at a sensible distance apart all numbered. We ordered...coffee a sausage roll chocolate orange brownie both of which were huge very delicious. This cafe was a great find we will definitely return.
