Woodstack - Valdosta

We passed Valdosta, we had to stop eating. I found this place on Yelp. We were not disappointed! Great service staff were so friendly! We had the chopped Brisket dipping loads of meat on the bungalow with melted cheese mushrooms, the chosen side was baked beans. Brisket was so delicately tasteful, baked beans had meat pieces, sweet but not excessively sweet. 1/2 baked chicken with 2 sides that was the most juicy chicken with a large smoked taste in it. Sides were fried quite okra, the batter coating was very good, with a touch of coarse salt on it, crunchy on the outside, not slim at all. The Bestie sandwich was also very good, ordered a loaded tater totes with pulled pork Brunswick stew was fascinating, we ordered a large bowl, it was pulled with Lima beans pork chicken with vegetables?. Very delicious with a touch of vinegar taste. The soup was very nice. 2 meats with 2 sides pulled chicken with sausage, Mac n cheese roasted okra All was good, we are very happy that we stopped here.

Today we had a great meal on the outdoor dining area with our puppy conor. Brisket French Di was the choice! Thank you, Leisa.

Fried Picklew for appetizer was amazing. Nice bunch of fried pimples. Could have eaten this for the meal alone. Very recommend the Brisket French Dip Sandwich. All right!

Was I with Smokin? Pig, and now, Woodstack; I have to say Woodstack gets my voice, hands down! All in all, just a better experience all the way. Better service, better food and better atmosphere for a comfortable culinary experience.

We got an assortment of items to go. You could really taste the smoke in the meats, which may not be for everyone. I loved the brisket and pulled pork. The full fried okra was also a nice change from traditional cut okra. The mac and cheese as well as the beans were good. They also have burgers and a full menu of other items to try. The one plus over the BBQ competition down the road is the size of the sides, they are almost double! We will defiantly be back again.
