Bidrage med feedbackDisappointed, my husband went for a pulled pork sandwich, which came on a brioche-style bun piled high with finely chopped, juicy pork. The flavor was fantastic, featuring slow-cooked pecan wood smoke that was rich yet not overpowering—pecan smoke is sweeter and more subtle compared to hickory or mesquite. They offered a variety of sauces, from smoky and spicy to Georgia mustard and Carolina thin sauce. The salad bar was incredibly fresh and well-stocked. I particularly enjoyed the carrot raisin salad, which reminded me of the delicious version from Chick-fil-A. The macaroni salad, fresh vegetables, banana pudding, and peach cobbler with ice cream were also delightful. I ended up enjoying the chicken salad a bit too much, indulging in a bit more than I should have. When our stew arrived, it came in a to-go container, not sure if that’s standard or just my attentive waitress noticing my salad consumption! The Brunswick stew had a consistency more like vegetable soup, which my husband found too thin for his liking, as he prefers it thick. He ended up adding some of his moist pulled pork to it, and that made it just right. I loved the flavor! The dish came with two pieces of cornbread that had a hint of sugar, which sparked some debate at our table. Our neighbors ordered the Philly cheesesteaks but, like us, were too full from the delicious salads to finish them. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes of the food. We are quite particular about our BBQ, and we'll definitely return on our next trip to Florida!
First time here and the food was not bad. It was... just okay. Average price for BBQ. The extra add-on for the salad and dessert bar was not bad though. Service was good, the waitress was super tentative. Location of this place is not bad either. It's close off the highway/interstate so if you were to make a pit stop to grab a bite, this place would be it. Huge restaurant with plenty of seatings and plenty of free parking outside.
Cute restaurant. Love the decor. Love the add-ons for salad and dessert bar, however I feel the dessert bar could be better. Our food was good but the water was TERRIBLE! It had a horrible taste and smell so we did not continue drinking it. We asked what type of smoker they used but the waitress didn't know and had to ask. She returned and stated they use a wood smoker. Back home you see smoke rolling from pellet smokers so we were curious if they were using an electric smoker. The food was good but didn't have that traditional smoky flavor. We were so excited to try the sweet potato waffle fries only to find out they don't have them anymore. The Mac and cheese was still cold in the middle of the cup and was very bland.
The bbq is amazing I had ribs and brisket so delicious not overly strong smoke but very tasty fall off the bone ribs. Our waitress was top-notch and great atmosphere.
On a random stop on our road trip. The baked potatoes were the size of a baby. But who goes to a BBQ stand for potatoes. The pulled pork was enormous and was enough to make 2 sandwiches worth The ribs (half portion) were enough to leave me and my daughter satiated. Needless to say our waitress Lindsay only had to get us pillows so we could nap after this great meal. Meals come with 2 trimmings. So I'm saying goodbye to chain because I've been spoilt by the souther Georgia hospitality.
