Bidrage med feedbackDunkin' is a great spot! Every time I visit this Dunkin' Donuts, I find it clean and well-lit. The staff always greets me with a smile, and I’ve never had to wait long, even during busy breakfast hours. The food is tasty, and the coffee is consistently hot. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
I want to express my gratitude to the staff at the Valatie Dunkin' Donuts location on 9H for their outstanding service after my recent experience at the Dunkin' in East Greenbush. Unfortunately, this morning was one of my worst experiences at the East Greenbush location, which is disappointing because they typically provide service with a smile. I usually stop there on my way to work to get my coffee just right. I always order the same thing: a sugar cookie flavor coffee with one sugar, extra cream, stirred well, and an egg white veggie wake-up wrap. On some mornings, my coffee tastes great; other times, it lacks the sugar cookie flavor, which they are usually aware of and correct swiftly. However, this morning was different. After tasting my coffee and finding it wasn't right, I mentioned this to a male employee. Instead of listening, he took my feedback personally and responded with an attitude. He insisted that if I kept saying it wasn't right, it was somehow my fault. I couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable with his approach. I choose what I want to order, and I’ve always expected satisfactory service. I mentioned that I wasn't sure how I wanted my drink because I order it the same way at every Dunkin’. I even pointed out that other Dunkins never have issues getting it right. At this point, he closed the window and turned away, and I could tell others were noticing his behavior as well. He eventually returned with my coffee, which was spilled all over the cup. When I asked for napkins to clean it up, he wiped it for me in a rather dismissive manner. Our conversation grew heated, and he even suggested that if I didn’t like my coffee, I should just go somewhere else. I considered taking his advice, but with his unprofessional attitude and my determination to stand up for myself, I chose to stay and simply asked for my sandwich. He handed it to me with a sarcastic gesture and a rude expression. As I drove away and checked my croissant, I made the decision to head to another Dunkin’ (wasting $5 in the process). To my dismay, the croissant was also wrong; it was supposed to be lightly buttered and well-toasted, but it came slathered in butter and barely toasted. This experience speaks volumes about the service, quality, and impression that customers carry with them. One bad employee can spoil the whole experience. As a consumer, I believe I have the right to voice my opinion and expect good service, especially from a company like Dunkin' in East Greenbush.
