The George Pub - Vail

We enjoyed the happy hour specials at this awesome basement bar. Our waiter, Zack, was truly exceptional! You’re awesome, Zack!!

The place was just what we were looking for—a casual spot to enjoy some beers, pub food, and a laid-back crowd. It wasn't trendy or upscale like Vail, nor was it overpriced; just good, straightforward American food.

I wouldn't recommend going there if you're not a local! The bartender, who had a nose piercing, was incredibly disrespectful and completely ignored my husband and me while we were trying to order drinks. We were attending an after-party for a wedding, and after several attempts to get his attention, he ignored us once again. When we confronted him about the fact that he was serving his friends and overlooking us, he had us kicked out. Overall, I strongly advise against visiting this place.

Terrible terrible service and staff. I tried to go for a night cap with my parents and had my driver license taken away by staff and told the only way to retrieve it was by contacting the police. Both the manager and bouncer were terrible. All of this happened right after the bouncer had let in a group of customers without checking ID. I was very disappointed in the level of service.

Cool lower level bar with plenty of TVs to watch a game. Had a very light crowd the summer night we were there, but in the winter after a full day of skiing, I could see a line out the door and a packed bar with a mix of locals and tourists.
