Sunday dinner for five after an event on Vagos. We made a reservation. We didn't knew the spot. All our orders were correct,the food and service was fine. We got grilled squids, cow steak and goat with boiled potatoes. All tasty. Sorry we didn't take photos. The only thing I'd refer was that we weren't dressed in Sunday suits so they were looking kinda uncomfortable attending our table.

On the way to Nazaré from Porto, we were looking to stop for a quick lunch. With all the other local restaurants closed, we found this gem still open at 3:30pm. We first thought it was closed, as there were no cars outside and after taking a look inside the staff were all sat down eating their lunch, but we were happily greeted and asked to sit down at a table. We’ve been on a grilled fish diet since landing in the country, so when asked “veal or fish” we quickly replied fish without thinking twice. Soon after we were presented with some of the best grilled cod we have tasted. Minimally seasoned, with only salt, fresh herbs, olive oil and onions, the meat was flaky and cooked to perfection. It was the first silent meal we’ve had, because we were focused on savouring every bite. An unbelievable find and if we ever make the trip south again we’ll be sure to come back!
