Dragon Court Restaurant - Uxbridge

This used to be the only pretty good Chinese food restaurant in Uxbridge. But yesterday we ordered $85 worth of truly awful food. The lo mein was soaked in soya sauce and was dark brown. Same with the fried rice which had so much soya sauce that it was swimming in it. The chicken wings were so salty - they were inedible. The beef with broccoli again had so much soya sauce that even the broccoli was darn brown. Disgusting meal that made us all feel sick.

Love this place! Great food! Restaurant is old but that's what makes it great! The photo in the review is not Dragon Court. Gold fingers, Cantonese chow mein and egg rolls are great!

We hadn't had chines food in a while, so we decided to drop in her as we were passing through Uxbridge. The food was good, and the 2 young girls / waitresses who seemingly did 'everything' (as there were no other employees to be seen), were great. The restaurant is dated, although I find that with many Chinese restaurants we have attended. The dining area was clean, however the washroom were very dirty....so I'm hoping its not a reflection of the kitchen area. There were not many people inside the restaurant in spite of it being supper time. It was evident however that there were many people ordering 'take-out'. I would give this restaurant a rating of 3.5 out of 5....but gave it a 'very good' rating on this site.

The food here is great. I used to be a server at this restaurant, but please do not be fooled by the picture. This place is really dimly lit and has not been updated in 20 years.The pictures make you think that it is really open and modern, but it is not.Don't get me wrong, I loved this place. Dave, the owner, is the most amazing host and makes you feel like family when you walk in. So overall, it is a great restaurant to visit, but please do not be fooled by the picture above. :)

Only had Chinese take out or eat in this good at the old Silver Dragon in West Hill. Excellent choices and food is full of flavor. Makes you want to go back every day. Call early on weekends, or special occasions. One hour waits are normal for pickups. That should tell you how popular the restaurant is. Mainly do take out.
