Lovely staff and great service enjoyed our Harley rally and entertainment good size venue

We had a delightful Sunday roast in a stunning environment. The Marinara pizza we shared was fantastic and we also took home a Margherita for our teenage son, which he loved. The pizza chef expertly cooked them in the amazing wood-fired oven. The gorgeous gardens and fish lake added to the charm of this historic pub, and the friendly staff made our experience even better.

I can't speak highly enough of this place! The owner and staff are lovely, and the chef is fantastic - the food was amazing! We were traveling in our motorhome and found this gem on Search for Sites. After being turned away from a campsite in Canterbury despite having all the necessary Covid tests, we parked in a little meadow at the back of the pub. There was no electric hookup, but we had access to fresh water and the toilets while the pub was open. We will definitely be returning!

Great atmosphere beautiful garden and pond polite friendly staff

The pizzas at this restaurant are excellent. Despite the rain, we had a lovely afternoon dining under the umbrellas. We even got to say hello to the fish.
