Restaurant du Parc - Ussel

We were led here by another restaurant that had served. Fortunately, the restaurant du Parc rejoiced at 13:40. They were very busy with local workers. In 15 years of living in France, this must be the best meal... we've ever had it. There was no menu, only menu of the day. That's the real France, as it used to be. Places like these seem to be more and more rare. It was soup for appetizers (help yourself from the huge tureen on the table); second course was ham and gherkins; third course was steak and chips (perfect cooked to order); fourth course was cheese (help yourself from the huge cheese table); fifth course was dessert (we were too late for the profiterole, but had something as delicious); Sixth course was coffee. We also had bread and wine and then a little more wine. For 15 euros per head, this was excellent and absolutely error-free. Service was also excellent. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

A la recherche d'un restaurant un lundi midi, nous sommes arrivés tout à fait par hasard au restaurant du PARC. Voyageant avec notre chienne, celle-ci a été acceptée sans problème. Le repas est un plat unique. Tout est fait maison, servie copieusement par un personnel sympathique, et en un temps très correct : ni trop rapide, ni trop lent. Bref, une parenthèse fort agréable !

Repas pour 8 le midi. Soupe, entrée, plat, fromage et dessert pour 13€. Bonne cuisine. Salle comble, pensez à réserver.
