Bidrage med feedbackJust down the street about 300 metres from Hotel Inti Nan, (turn left) you need to look no further for an excellent family run restaurant. Superb pizzas, curries, Lomo Saltado, trout and great pisco sours!!! A must do!!!
We visited Pacakuna Restaurant in the afternoon, as a recommendation from Diego at HOPS Beer House down the road. It was a short walk from the Inti Nan Hotel where we stayed. A family owned and operated business, this restaurant had a great vibe. The ambiance was fun and relaxing with an area for sitting with a drink and watching TV to a few tables in the lower area and a few in the higher area. It was cool in the afternoon and then also when we returned for a late dinner so sitting by the heater in the lowest area was the most comfortable. The staff were friendly and spoke English. We had Pisco sours and tried the Peruvian National dish of Lomo Soltada. It was so great that we returned for two kinds of spaghetti for a late dinner. A must try on the outskirts of Urubamaba.
Wow!! This place is a hidden gem in Urubamba. We went with the intention of getting pizza, but were told they only did pizza on Fridays. So glad, we ended up getting spaghetti with tomato sauce and vegetables. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The bread and dipping sauce we got before the spaghetti came out was unbelievable!!! Definitely check out this place while visiting. It's a bit off the beaten path but is out of this world good.
This is a very particular Restaurant, like hippie style. They have a daily menu which is really good! Personally I ask for "pastel de choclo" or corn cake with meet and grilled veggies in the middle, and greens at the side. For me, it was the best Pastel de Choclo I have ever eat on my whole Life. I usually try ithis plate at some restaurants and definetely i Love it! Also one of my friends ask for Pesto pasta with shrimps and it was really good too. The attendance is kind. They serve some bread with olive oil as appetizer and as a courtesy. If you are visiting Urubamba this is a must!
Buenísimo, excelente atención, la pizza riquísima y el ambiente perfecto. Muy recomendado. Puedes pedir tu pizza con cerveza, jugo o matecito, hay espacio para que los niños jueguen y los baños limpiecitos. Volveré!
