Caffe Degli Archi Urbino

Utterly shameful!! I visited Urbino with my mom and after seeing the castle we went for a coffee and a desert. Yes, it was during a rush hour but the quality of food was disgusting!! We ordered two coffees and a desert. Coffees were good, you can 't really mess up with an espresso. The desert on the other hand was dry and hard as a brick. The deadest desert I 've ever seen!! I first complained to the server who didn 't even blink!! Then, I complained to the manager whose reaction was even worse. He was staring at me with a deadpan face and a I don 't give a damn attitude. My mom happens to be super fluent in Italian and when she complained he did the same, nothing! No apologies, no refund, no nothing!! Yes, I do not expect a super proficient level of English everywhere, it 's completely fine. But FOOD POISONING is a universal reaction. Such a behaviour for such a touristic destination is unacceptable!! The most unprofessional manager ever, as well as staff members. I did go back to use the facilities after 15 mins and they had thrown the remaining deserts. Shameful!!

This cafe is well located on the main piazza so you can sit in the loggia and people watch if you want to. The covered area is great to get out of the heat if that is a problem. The drinks selection was fine and they had food as well although we didn't eat there. The staff seemed good and were friendly too. A nice break from our wanderings.

Quick place to great a cappuccino or espresso, or you can sit and people watch as this was in the center of town. It seemed like everyone would stop here throughout the morning and early afternoon.

We had lunch choosing dishes of the local tradition.... everything very good. Fast service and average prices.

The location certainly beautiful right in front of the ducal palace, but very sloped table. They still served us despite it was 14.20. Good noodles despite a fur found inside. It grows instead great really!!!
