Thai Smile - Urangan

Was able to get a table without any booking. Meal was lovely. Seemed to be left to it. Didn't offer drinks, did bring a bottle of water to the table, but to be fair, if we wanted drinks we could have made an effort to ask! Food was lovely, tasty, well presented. Staff were friendly

Although the restaurant is small the atmosphere was warm and inviting on a cold night and the food smelled delicious so we went in for dinner. The food is delicious and service friendly.

I was not impressed with the food from the Thai Smile, went there once

We went dine in on a Saturday evening. There were no prawn crakers, they had just run out. We had the pork dim sims (chefs suggestion) they were hot but tasteless, very disappointing. I had chicken with peanut sauce, the chicken was cooked well and there were lots of veggies but the peanut sauce was SO sweet it ruined the dish. My husband had chilli basil pork which we both liked. We also had a combination fried rich which was nice, just a few too many uncooked shallots. Service was average. Nothing good enough to warrant a second visit.

Hubby and I was hungry so we decided to get take away from Thai Smile.Went to the counter to place my order, waited for a while before a youngman serve me. After taking my order and collecting my money, he told meI have to wait 35 minutes for the meal as they were very busy. I was notvery happy as he would have told me before I place my order. So I waited andwaited and waited, a number of people came and collected their food and Iwas still left waiting. So after 45 minutes later i finally got my food, the young man did not apologise and I thought he was pretty rude. The pad thai was nicebut the fried rice was very ordinary. There was not much meat in both meals.Will not even consider dining in.
