Be prepared to wait..... slower service then most places

Good food, well cooked, inviting atmosphere, very good wines,...

Hubby and I and our friends had the most scrumptious dinner and dessert in front of a fire tonight. We all thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary champagne and olives as we meandered around the bookshop. Thank you for a most delightful evening. We will be back.

Table of 5 who spent over $100 in meals and coffee for breakfast it’s disappointing to be met by unfriendly staff who weren’t even able to acknowledge our presence,understanding that at times service is busy however with 20+ years of national hospitality industry experience I am very much aware of what a simple smile and acknowledgement of “will be with you soon” will do for a business and their valued customers. Food and coffee was enjoyable and through this it was agreed that this is what keeps the doors open with this business, certainly not a welcoming atmosphere.
