I’m really disappointed with my recent experience. The customer service was terrible—impatient and rude. This Dunkin' Donuts is close to my home, so I visit occasionally. Today, when I went, the place was empty. At the drive-thru, the employee didn’t give me a moment to decide on my order. She wasn’t wearing a face mask and was leaning out the window. I had ordered two out of three items, but since most things were sold out, I asked her for a minute to think about the third item. However, she insisted she was busy and didn’t have time for me to complete my order. I told her I didn’t want it anymore and left to go elsewhere. When I drove away, I glanced back and saw the restaurant still empty—I'm not sure what she could have possibly been busy with. There was also a previous occasion when I placed an order through the mobile app, only to arrive and find that my order hadn’t even been started.
I went Friday, 19. February 2021 there and I pulled up the window when a huge piece of ice fell from the top of her small umbrella canopy over the ride and did not knot hit me, snow in my whole car, but it broke my entire windshield. At first he tried to call my car insurance that didn't happen because I didn't have this cover, and I told him he had to pay for it with his insurance. I took pictures and I'm gonna take them. He then said to write my phone number that the owner will call me in an hour. This was at 9 a.m. this morning and it's 1 a.m. and he didn't call. So my next step is to get back there and call the police. He broke my windshield and didn't even give me the food for free?????? Terrible management and now it's a legal suit.
Initially, I used to order from here frequently, but that has changed. The croissants are tough and stale, and the donuts are left out overnight. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up with 10 pumps of sugar in your coffee instead of the 3 you asked for, along with way too much cream. Keep an eye on your change! I often find myself shortchanged by the same woman. The heavierset cashier is particularly questionable; she doesn’t always ring up purchases, just makes up a price, and doesn’t always put all the cash in the register. This way, when the next customer comes along, she can take the money she pocketed from me and use it to avoid making the register short. I understand it can get chaotic.
Barclay Square Dunkin' has a drive-thru, and they got my online order perfectly right. It's always been a great Dunkin', but unfortunately, it's not on my way to work.
