India Mahal - University Place

Visited India Mahal for the first time today. Great food. Excellent service. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I’ve had Indian food up and down the Puget sound and this place is my least favorite. Biryani was very mushy, Masala was very bland. Mint Chutney tastes like old salsa verde. Would not go again.

The gentle man was kind to me, I think it is also important that I was kind/polite to him, the portions are so big!!! I am definitely coming back here and will tip even better because the food is firemenSamosas 10/10, butter chicken kinda strong on spice but tastes like Indian authentic food, Naan is soft and fresh, rice perfectly done. Food was very bland. Need to figure out what Indian flavors are.
