Cafe Laura - University Park

I absolutely adore this Cafe. My friends and I often gather here to enjoy a meal and socialize for lunch. It's a hidden treasure. While the food may be a bit pricey, the quality more than justifies it. I highly recommend it!

My experience at the Cafe was disappointing. The calamari appetizer was good, but the veal Marsala entree was chewy and bland. The bread was served cold with overly rosemary-infused oil. The service was lacking, with the waiter reaching across the table and addressing us as "guys" when we were mature women. The server also struggled to remember our orders and forgot about us when it was time to pay the bill. Overall, I was not happy with my experience and would not recommend leaving a large tip.

I made a dinner reservation at this restaurant. The main course is of good quality. The appetizers are worth a try. The service could use some improvement, but I understand that it is because the staff are still in training.

Only opens for few hours, but extremely good food and service, with perfect pricing. Menu changes every day, and I love the surprises.

I was very excited to go to cafe laura and grab some breakfast. I had heard great things about the bacon egg and cheese on ciabatta. Unfortunately when I got there, some dolt in front of me took the last bacon egg and cheese! I was furious, and would have left a scathing review, if not for the kindness and warmth of the manager, Ryan. He convinced me that the chicken and waffle dish was just as good, and after I tried it, he was right. Thank you Ryan, for turning my poor experience into a fantastic one.
