U-city Grill - University City

As we were stepping out, the restaurant owner, a man in his mid-50s, came out and began to loudly berate us from across the parking lot. He accused us of being rude for not informing him we were leaving and claimed we had messed up his chairs. Although I'd seen various reviews online mentioning the owner's rude behavior, I never expected to be verbally attacked by him for simply adjusting four chairs. He started yelling at my family and me, insisting that customers inside reported we had caused a mess with the chairs. Confused by his outburst, we decided to go back in and ask the customers for themselves, while the owner continued to shout at us. To our surprise, the customers denied ever saying anything of the sort. We were left utterly baffled and appalled by the entire experience. We will definitely not be returning, and we were horrified by the owner's aggressive behavior towards our family.

I had never tried Korean food before, and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Bibimbap with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is quite small, located at the back of a row of shops and eateries, so we almost overlooked it because my GPS led us astray. There was only one person working, and he prepared all the dishes himself, but everything came out quickly. The prices were very reasonable too—my meal and a soda only cost $10! We will definitely be returning!

This is a great spot located right next to the library. The place was clean and well-kept. As mentioned in other reviews, the man working there isn't particularly friendly, but he is efficient and polite. I ordered the bulgogi beef and kimchi, and it was fantastic—it really filled me up! Don't go expecting a warm conversation with the owner, but do anticipate delicious, authentic food. I will definitely be coming back!

The food was incredible! You sit at a counter where the chef and owner prepares the dishes right before your eyes. The place has a charming retro, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere that feels underrated. Be sure to bring cash! We ordered the bulgogi beef, bibimbap, and bokkeumbap, and everything was fantastic. We'll definitely be returning!

It's a cozy little spot on the corner, and I absolutely love their bibimbap. It's simple, budget-friendly, and really tasty. My ex brought me here, and I've been a fan ever since.
