Tabares Phillippine Market

I finally discovered a Filipino restaurant to satisfy my craving for lumpia. The food is wonderful, but it's unfortunate that they’ll be closing soon. Be sure to visit before mid-May! They also have a mini market with some excellent snacks!

I often visit this restaurant, and I have to say the food is fantastic, especially considering the prices. While the selection is somewhat limited due to the small space, they do offer a nice variety of dishes that you can choose from. Just be sure to communicate clearly if you want to modify your order, even if they haven’t started cooking your initial choice yet. I accidentally ended up ordering two different items when I tried to change my mind, which was due to a miscommunication on my part. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It’s also important to double-check the prices, even if you’ve ordered a dish before and think you remember the cost; I feel like some prices have increased a bit. I’m not entirely sure, so I’ll make sure to verify next time. Overall, the food is absolutely delicious and has an amazing aroma. For me, it’s definitely a go-to spot for Filipino cuisine.

This restaurant is fantastic! I really hope they reopen soon. The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is both creative and delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend it!

So sad they're closing. I had things from my time in Hawaii and the Marshall Islands. My wife is a Pacific Islander and loved this store

In a pinch, I always find what I need to cook a traditional Chamorro Meal. Thank you for stocking the items that are not available in the tradtional Grocery store. Spanish Chorizo Sausage and Lemon Powder in the can, can be found here.
