Holy Crab - Universal City

Sub par food and worse, Anthony orders his food from Instacart. He makes the drivers carry in hundreds of pounds of product with no assistance and barely pays a tip. He wants his customers to pay 20% tip yet his cheap self barely pays 5% to his shoppers. H‑E‑B and sams club isn't where you would expect your premium seafood to come from.... In regular people's cars... using their gas and maintenance. Do better Anthony and use gromers seafood for goodness sake. I will never eat here again!

Decided to give this place a try. Was a little disappointed they were out of crawfish. Apparently they only get so much for the weekend sometimes they run out sooner. this is Friday around 5) Ordered the holy crab combo, due to them being out of the Dungeness crab we got extra snow crab. For the price I would of thought it would be a bigger serving. No complaints with customer service we were greeted and overall served at a decent time. The place was clean and there was only about 2 people in the restaurant. One which had to return food due to coldness. Will not be returning.

My mother and I had a very good meal and service to go along with it. Our food was hot and the portions were plentiful. Our server was very attentive and friendly. It was empty most of our time there but began to pick up as we were leaving,

My overall lunch experience here was awful. Walked in around 12:00pm and no one was inside. No staff or customers. Heard loud gossip talking coming from the kitchen so we walked to the back and asked if the place was open. Got sat and requested recommendations from the server. My mom noticed a 1lb of snow crab was $40, she said oh wow that 's kinda pricey and the server stated, Yeah sorry I just work here. Overall vibe was unprofessional and condiments were horrendous and made our stomachs turn. There was dried up rice inside the salt shaker see photo for reference) and the pepper was hardened and stuck together. We ordered the shrimp cocktail $7) to start, it came with five on a bed of ice. None of the sacks were removed from them. We asked to order the Cajun Alfredo penne pasta and the server said they were out of Alfredo. We than requested crawfish and she said they didn 't have that either. After about ten minutes my mother 's stomach started hurting so we just closed our tab and left. So disappointed cause I 've been dying to try this place. Sadly a huge let down.

We did takeout from here today and the food was very good. We ordered two of the Holy Crab Trios which consisted of very generous portions of Deep fried Catfish, Large Gulf fried Shrimp and Oysters, fries and onion rings, garlic bread and sides of Coleslaw. We also ordered Naked Cajun Chicken Wings. All of the food was well seasoned and very tasty. We would definitely recommend and will certainly return. I especially loved the Large Gulf fried Shrimp. Looking forward to trying the Beignets and a Root beer float on the next order.
