The Stone Soup Company - United States

Stayed overnight in Tampa in the Ybor City District. I really wanted a Cuban Sandwich and found Stone Soup Company and saw the reviews were great. Stopped by had some cheese bread and a Cuban and was impressed. The food was excellent and I would highly recommend stopping by this restaurant.

I was a little wary of visiting from the other reviews saying they waited a long time, because I had an appointment to be at right after, but I’m happy we did. We were seated right away and the food didn’t take long at all. I had the house salad and chili and it was really great. My boyfriend had the Greek salad and onion soup. We’ll definitely be back to try different items in the future.

Excellent staff and delicious food. Gluten free menu options and very flexible when it comes to making changes to their meals. They took a philly cheese steak and deconstructed it and used mushroom caps instead of bread. Came out amazing.

The place was a 7/10 but THE CUBAN WAS A 9!!! That pork was moist and plentiful! The crunch and flavor led me to the Cuban promise land. It comes with a vinegar mojo sauce to add even more balance if the impact of the thick Swiss cheese and sweet ham wasn't enough to push your taste buds into tranquillity. The French fries were soggy and the French onion wasnt super flavorful despite having French fried onions in it which I thought was clever. However, military discount and epic Cuban and coffee were more than enough to make up for those small disappointments. I'd definitely opt for the Cuban over the medianoche as it wasn't crunchy at all.

They didn't have a lot of things advertised, like milk to make coffee or any breakfast items. But what we got was pretty good. Decor was grand
