Thought Gen Tso would be a bit different in China Town....but it was...Gen Tso. I suppose should have ventured a bit further afield in my taste. The chicken was cooked perfect but it wasn't spicy. Sticky rice and broccoli rounded out the dish. Both were perfect. I suppose it was a perfect Gen Tso although a bit on the mild side.My wife had the chicken lo mein...about the same as you can get outside of China Town.Restaurant decor is what I would expect in China Town, servers did a good job.Drinks are in cans, and it can be crowded in there.I would go back, but venture a bit further on the pallette next time.
Very tasty food, especially the baby boy choy with garlic, the crispy duck, and the soup dumplings/ steamed juicy buns. Friendly service, reasonable prices, large enough space so there was no wait I'll be back.Food: 4/5
Average for the area, wanton soup was good value for money, pork dumplings looked a little undercooked (red meat) and the individual meat dishes were a little bland and quite greasy. Decent enough selection of Asian beers though.
Avoid at all cost. STAFF WAS RUDED AS HELL! Visited saturday night for late 8pm dinner. I ordered and paid for prawns and lobster sauce and they served me shrimps. When I inquired the staff all became non-English speaking. Food had no taste. My jasmine tea came in a dirty dispense with an oily residue. And then they imposed excessive tip for poor service. Didn't give us enough napkins or condiments. We asked for soy sauce and never recieved. My evening was ruin ed . We visited from out of town and came with appetite ready to eat. That didnt happen. Oh, by the way no sides comes with meals. YIKES. We got scammed.Parking: No parking
