Old West Steakhouse - Union City

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The appetizer portion was quite generous, and the buffet items were all very fresh. The food itself was tasty, although I felt there could have been more variety. It seems they may have reduced the menu a bit too much; while four appetizers are fine, it would have been nice to have more options. The squash was a bit on the salty side, but otherwise, everything was enjoyable. The prices were reasonable, and I particularly liked the tea, which was smooth and not bitter at all.

The server was extremely attentive and friendly. The buffet had a good selection of options. However, I always like to have fruit on my salad, and there wasn't any available. I don't order dessert every time I go out, but the dessert table looked fantastic. The restaurant was very clean, with dishes cleared away quickly. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience.

Additionally, they offer a senior option; my grandmother opted for a steak instead of the buffet and she said the rib eye was delicious and cooked to perfection.
