Compliments on the Alfredo Pasta entree with chicken and broccoli. The sauce was perfect, the broccoli bright green and tender but not mushy. Only suggestion is cook the pasta slightly longer so that it will stay on the fork when you eat it (mine kept slipping off which made it hard to eat). Thanks! I've read a ton of reviews for the Tavern and amazed that no one has mentioned the fact that it's never open, even when the hours are posted for them to be open (Oh, something came up so don't open) . The way it's run is an injustice to the residents of Union and the surrounding area. Yes, the atmosphere is great, the food is good, but it's a **** shoot as to it being open. It seems obvious that the present owner(s) have very little interest in running the business or it's success !! If that's the case, they should consider selling out so someone with an actual interest in community can provide the service that Union and surrounding residents deserve.
