Café Göteborg - Umeaa

Amazing views and experience regardless if it's 12 or summer heat

Have eaten a couple of times at café Göteborg and every time you enter you get the illusion that it is a fresh and clean place. The first time, the girlfriend and I took a cup of crushed kladdkake and it was delicious to eat. However, the girlfriend found fried red onion in the ice cream. Surprised and assuming it was a one-off, we didn't bother with it any more. The last time was the breakfast buffet for an unpalatable 90 kroner. Apart from the price, which meant some yogurt and a sandwich, the plates, glasses and mugs were unwashed to the extent that there was butter left on one of the plates from the previous guest. I would not recommend my friends to go here. NOTE this took place during autumn/winter. No experience of the summer offer.

Very large portions and an own style in both interior design and type of food. Extremely good desserts. Sometimes the staff can be a bit rough and nonchalant though. It is still a favorite place among coffee shops in Umeå
