Elizans Wine Bar - Ulladulla

Part of Ulladulla Guest House this restaurant at short notice on a Monday organised a seafood platter for 3 that was out of this world. The wine list is top notch for anywhere not just for a summer holiday spot. If you are in Ulladulla and want a fine dining experience I think this IS IT!

Oen fire on a rainy night set the scence. We ordered an entree of garlic bread followed by six mezzi plates. We chose the Villa Maria Sauv blanc to accompany the meal. We found the service friendly and efficient. The six plates we delivered two at a time with the shared dessert as the final. We had cofee to finish the feast and left satiated and relaxed. We would recommend this for a special occasion.

Very quiet venue in March, that's ok with us could hear ourselves think. Staff were very nice and attentive, happy to have a chat. Food was very tasty and fresh, highly recommend the tomato, basil and mozzarella. the Penne with chicken and avocado was also very interesting. Served as tapas we had a lot of good flavours over the 6 dishes we ate. Large wine list with a variety of pricing and cocktails. worth a visit

We arrived there having booked for 14 in our group and we were a little surprised by the lack of cohesion in the serving staff but that was really the only blemish in the evening. The wine list is very good and the food is really tasty. Tapas style. There were no complaints from anyone in our group about the food. The menu has a wide range to choose from and the kangaroo was my personal favourite. Overall we would go back there when visiting Ulladulla.

Recently visited Ulladulla and asked for a recommendation for dinner. Went to Elizans as recommended and initially was a bit unsure - it's just in a suburban street and no one else but our group in the restaurant at the time. However was more than pleasantly surprised. Food was outstanding and the wine list remarkable. Service was also excellent. Offered great suggestions for wines. A most enjoyable evening. Highly recommend this restaurant. Would happily return next time I'm in Ulladulla.
