Tengis - Ulan-Ude

Typical and modern restaurant throughout the center of Ulan-Ude: You can find the best speciality of regional cuisine, but presented and served in a modern way: I loved it. The place is beautiful, warm and the personal is very welcoming and the waitress speaks English, this helps much to understand what to choose and what to eat. Thank you. The food and drink was amazing and not so expensive : I tried a degustative set for 1600 rubles from appetizer to dessert and drink. I suggest if it is your first/second attempt of Buryat's taste: you will taste cheese, meat, fish, roasts, tea. Must try when you travel in Ulan-ude.

Great performance when you get the dishes. Service is very good. Tasty Boozy, recommend to try all.

Superb restaurant! There are many places in Ulan-Ude (and Irkutsk and Chita) specialising in traditional Buryatian food, but this one is a cut above the rest, and so for a reasonable price you can taste the best examples of local food. Highly recommended!
