Great price, great decor, great food. We had some boortsog (deepfried twisted dough) to start. So chewy and greasy and tasty. This was followed up by Tsuivan (noodles with mutton and vegetables) and Khuushuur (fried meat pastry). The portion sizes were massive. Absolutely worth the price which was great even before I knew how much food they would be bringing. There were 5 Khuushuur and they were large enough that you needed two hands to eat it. The noodles in the Tsuivan were the perfect amount of chewy and the meat and vegetables were so fresh.

Nice restaurant you can eat Mongolian dishes. You should eat Tsuivan in here.

First time i come around, they say no free tables. i come second time, they say 'no beer ', though apparently everyone else in the restaurant is enjoying one. no one speaks english or pretends so, so they can 't answer questions. not sure what their problem is, but pity.

An absolutely incredible authentic Mongolian restaurant in the heart of downtown Ulaanbaatar. Located just half a block south of the State Department Store on the left hand side of the park, this restaurant serves some of the most delicious, hearty Mongolian food I had there. It was so good that I went back twice during the week I visited and brought more peo ol e with me each time!! Definitely NOT an establishment with fluent English-speaking staff, so just come with patience and a willingness to point and gesture and smile in order to order (and get your check at the end of the meal . The food will absolutely worth it! The portion sizes are relatively huge, so dont order too much ; I had the mutton buuz (traditional Mongolian dumplings and the plate of mutton served basically fajita-style with incredibly delicious mashed potatoes. And while you 're waiting for your meal, they 've got a set of sheep bones at each table to play a very traditional Mongolian game (basically Mongol magic eight ball .
