Very disappointed that we had been there our time, but we do not plan to go back one day. the service was pretty bad - they rushed us every time (e.g. glass wein for the curs brought to the table before the cursor was completed, courts brought to the table without explanation, the day of the reservation we were called to be asked if we could arrive earlier than the time we requested the booking etc.). the cursor was excellent, the next (we took the cursor menu), simply was not overcooked at the level of a star restaurant of the fish, the clothes were almost unexplored, not very tasty we were there a few years ago and we were thrilled at this time. not know what happened this time, maybe new owners, champagne cures, or the feeling that the star is a quiescent, server that better try other Michelin star restaurants that for less than this price offer very good quality of kitchen and accommodation included!
Good reception, aperitif on the terrace, everything is perfect, except we made the reservation, and staff always addresses one of our guests (who is good customer). a bit boring we opt for suggestions (the salad lobster for the entry and the turbo in the dish), and the sommelier goes for the choice of wines. we choose a white sicilian (cometa) grown on the volcanic slopes of the island. we pass to the table, I choose a little bread (a little dry, damage and attack a very acidulated mouth (like the candy of our childhood .. why not! We continue with the entrance (with a hair in and every time the server tightens the bread, it only comes back to those who have finished theirs, not a look for me who tries a discreet sign to not shout on the cantonade. Anyway, I'll finally get out of the bread this lobster salad is excellent, and the white wine is just as successful as the turbo (sucking and I get up my nose on the scene around us and I didn't notice. her coldness and remains are a little disconcerting (the chandelier (suspension) in the middle of the room is horrible we continue to address exclusively to our guest, we are transparent that the waitress finally serves us a terrine and I have to make her repeat what she has just described and which was incomprehensible. Evidently not very comfortable with French: the urea of a lotte (a pure delight the following dessert is good, but does not revolutionize anything, neither in terms of taste, nor in terms of presentation the coffee (expresso) has a lot of acidity (I am not a fan, it is obviously very personal but it is clearly served in the rules (mousse and dark, good temperature). Mignardize in quantity (excellent creams burned, chocolate bursts with divine cereals in conclusion, damaging that service does not follow the quality of the kitchen. Very frustrating!
I came on the day of the national party. For me, the dishes and the service were worth a 2 star with a big dish: my husband had taken the suggestion of lobster the plate was beautiful but the lobster (which he made me taste) was certainly frozen (no flavor), the softer the clamp (too cook I suppose). I reported it to the two servers who were taking care of my table, I think) who said he was moving to the kitchen. after more damage back. christine bruxelles
